5/26/2012 & 6/2/2012 C@ Voyage of the Glaciers Alaska B2B Group Cruise

Getting another day closer!! Today got our whale watching taken care of so another step closer!!

Good now you all will bewhale watching with us. I just hope they find the whales bubble feeding am a little worried it will be too early for them coming in from Hawaii. As I clean back bedroom have been tossing things in suitcase we might need. Of course will have to go thru that stuff when it is suitcase packing time. Been working on a cruise tan, LOL

By the way Niecie I did gety that $200 reduction it showed up on my credit card statement day after they paid me in full.

Love these beautiful days.

Good news Maw on getting that credit!

Been thinking about doing one of the Dog Sled experiences where you visit the musher camp and then get to ride in a "wheeled" sled....been thinking of booking the one in Juneau on the second leg of the trip. Would LOVE to do the one on the Glacier but at over $1,000 for 2 people is way too rich for my blood LOL.

I haven't checked on tours for second time around guess I had better do that. Trying to get a little more walking in each day love this beautiful weather. Melissa said I was walking better yesterday I did not take cane with me.

Maw, I am also wanting to do the Lumber Jack show in Ketchikan, not sure on which leg. And I am looking at the Red Onion Saloon breakfast thing for second leg.

Sounds like U have been quite busy in our absence. Guess we best play catch up this week and see what things need to be finalized. Pretty sure we are playing it by year on the excursions so there is a good chance weather cooperating that we will be on board quite a few of the excursions already booked. The Glaciers are my prime excursions for this cruise but I would not mind seeing some whales and doing the train ride with some rays of sun. Needless to say after the past week I am VERY MUCH looking forward to where we will be in 65 days.

Finally got our plane ticket home taken care of so guess all it ready to go. Won't be long before we pull out the suitcases, so need to start planning the packing and since this is first trip to Alaska will have to give some thought to it. But we both are getting excited now. :sunny:

Niecie Paw says Red Onion thing sounds interesting to him. He thinks he can make stairs-should I tell him it is only a musesem. LOL I have read up on Tram on Mtr Roberts and think we may give it a try too. Daw I forgot tyo call the shuttle yesterday sorry. Have to call tomorrow-Today full going to Dr. Ceasers.

Good News on the plane tickets. As for the packing there NO worry DAW as all that U need is a swimsuit and pair of Flip Flops. :diablo:

Sounds like E you think we are spending all our time in Pool and hot tub. Well maybe that is where we spend a lot of time in Caribean. Like idea of seeing snow and being in pool.

Sounds like we are all in high gear! I know E and Red deserve a realaxing get-away and I know we ALL are more than ready!

Maw, when we were on the Star I heard good things about the Red Onion tour from other cruisers...they said the "Girls" were VERY entertaining

E, I will be sure to pack swimsuit & flip flops, for a little time in hot tub!! Seems like it might be a little cool for pool, ha! Do like the idea of being able to look at snow while to that!! That's an evil little devil you have there E!!

Think covered solarium pool & hot tub Brenda. :beach:

U do NOT think E would go to the Gr8 White North and not have a indoor pool & hot tub available do U???
 And it even has windows to take in the passing outside views. Now to just get the 1st Round of Bloody Mary's ordered. :boogie:

That pool doesn't look to be too Maw friendly-oh well I can keep watch for the whales again-enjoy a bloody Mary or maybe I will make that some hot broth they pass around or hot chocolate.

Daw did get our reservations on Quick shuttle too. We get into Setac at 10:35 have until 12:15 to get to where shuttle meets. Said it would take until 5:30 to get to Vancouver. You will show Passport as you board bus. Going to be a long day for sure.

Your right MAW pool doesn't look like it will work for you, but think we could get you into hot tub for a short period! I figure the getting there and home are both going to be long days, but it will be worth it!! The view from the pool will be amazing!! And the bloody mary sound really good! :cheer:

LONG travel days at the beginning and end will be difficult but the time in between will MORE than make up for it. :boogie:

14 days and not having to get off when everyone else does in Whittier how good wull that be? Sorry Daw. Just gotta stick to diet and get more walking in-so glad weather is so nice now-time to get outdoors. E you would have trouble walking around our lake. LOL Envy you and the little lady having this activity.

I made our Quick shuttle reservation this morning. We will be getting the 5pm coach so wont get to the Blue Horizon until almost 10:30....it will be a LONG day!
