Warning if your ship stops at grand cayman, bars closed

George C

Staff Captain
It’s been reported by several people that there is a new rule that all bars will be closed on the ship while at this port. Not planning on going there until after they change this rule.

how odd..

But I can not remember the last time that I wanted to go to a bar on the ship while in the Caymans, so it will not bother us.

Although... we have been there multiple times, so done everything, and we find it to be a very dull port of call... So rethinking this.....We may need the bar on the ship..lol

Thanks for the heads up.:beer4:

George, if your ship goes to the Caymans, just stock up your fridge a day before with whatever you drink. Then on that day, you can sit at the pool ON the ship and still have your drink.

As Fish says... "Caymans...who needs them?"

Most of our cruises are now on celebrity annd the butler keeps your fridge stocked with your choice, for any suite, higher end suites get a liquor setup with two liters of liquor of your choice . Love suites.

Really? I would have thought that this let you off the hook.. you could make your own drink and take it wherever you want...
OK.. then we must cruise together sometime.. and while you are out at the bar, we can be in your cabin drinking your stock :beer4:
Just pulling your leg...

The only time we normally open our liquor is if we invite people over to see the suite , I have several bottles of 12 year old single malt scotch in our liquor cabinet curtesy of celebrity

Grand Cayman is a beach and watching day. Beach is great and right across from the tender dock is a bar on 2nd storey with a great view of North American (and a few others) stepping out into traffic without looking the "Right" way first when crossing the road.

Thanks for the tip.. "People watching" it sounds like fun.

to this day I still look the wrong way when crossing the street.. and how long have I been in America? some people just can not be trained..

If these are the rules, then this is how it should be. There is no other way, the law is the law. I myself am studying to become a lawyer and I understand this perfectly.

OMG how old are you ? Maybe there is hope/!! :lol04:

I am 22. My father is a famous lawyer in our city. That is why I have such a desire. I myself decided to choose this direction at the university. This should have been done a long time ago. I'm actually surprised, I need to read about this in more detail.
