I think the Carlos n' Charlies is no longer there in Aruba...possibly next to one of the resorts now?
 
^^^I think you are right, George. Last time we were in LaRomana there wasn't much to do except stand on the deck of the ship and count baseball diamonds as far as the eye could see.....

Sorry to hear that there may not be a Carlos and Charlies any longer....Ann and I needed to catch a few yards together!!!

Barb I have been at my convention. I have checked emails tonight but did not see any from you. Any from a week or so ago I thought I answered.
 
I received a letter from my credit card company and finally have confirmation that the benefits transfers over from Continental Chase to United Chase, so we will get our free first bag per person. That's good. So, we are going to try to pack 2 checked bags and our carryons and see if we can do it....it'll be rough for me!
 
Sorry Guys but we have to drive down the day of the cruise...it has to do with days off of work for some of us. But we will meet up on the ship.

Jim we are driving down the morning of as well, with Barb and Greg. Right Barb? Isn't that still the plan? We will have to get back to you on the Friday night thing. I have to get a dog sitter another night if we do that. Maybe my Mother in law will stay at our house that night for us. It may be late Friday night though because Tom and I both work that day and will not be finished until about 6.

I talked with Hope today and her company is going to give her the days off....we will know for sure monday morning. If that happends than we wil pull Calun from my cabin and put him with Hope and we will be cruising with the Big Cats AGAIN :) lets see how it all works out after monday.

Yes, we are planning on driving together to the port. If you choose not to stay Friday, just drive early Sat. Make it easy on yourselves!

Sounds like you have a plan, but not sure I could get away with that amount of luggage. If you are successful, you must share the secret to packing less.

Sheree isn't there laundry rooms on the Carnival ships? You can just bring a few outfits and wash them. I think that if I had to fly that is what I would do. We do not care if you wear the same thing more than once.
