I've simply got to get work-relating messages taken care of first. I deeply appreciate your concern...and if we all hope and pray and think good thoughts enough, perhaps I'll have had the last of the nose bleeds.

No one has been bugging me and I'm realllllllly irked that that word was used or implied and has taken on a life of its own. 
I was merely explaining that I would update in email if there was any news. As I said above, there's a lot of behind-the-scenes paperwork involved in a group and that's one of the things keeping me busy now. Personal emails get put aside until until business emails are attended to first.
I sincerely appreciate my friends' concern - as I said in email, I'll update if there's anything to update, and hopefully, no news remains good news.

Awaiting results of mental evaluation
"Oh my goodness!" Is it only six weeks now?
The time really is flying, isn't it? Thankfully, we're as ready as we can be. All the outfits have been tried on and checked for needed alterations/replacement. Everything back from the dry cleaners. The suitcases are packed and loaded in the trunk (no place else to put them). Shorexs's have been reserved. Additional dining reservations made. Furbaby arrangements comfirmed. Hotel and flights locked in. Transportation to/from the terminal done. Credit card(s) taken to a zero balance and security notified of our itinerary.
Guess that all that's left is for the flock to gather in The Big Apple, play tourist and get our tail feathers on board the "Duckingdam" ...

I have a handy dandy excel spreadsheet that counts down the days for me....it's sooooo nice to look at when we're this close!
I imagine an abacus using stuffed olives would work just as well for Mal?
