QUACK !

OK. The scrubs arrived while we were off in VA. This duck is going to be lookin' good for the "On Deck For The Cure" parade! I have to pack my stuff for the move, so I guess I'll go ahead and finish packing for the invasion at the same time ... QUACK ... Made it back in to the Wolverine last night. Was only a nine hour drive from No VA. Sir Cody was all wiggle-butt and kisses. :clap: Guess he missed us. ... QUACK ... Lots of stuff to do to get ready to move out to VA. Also, have to get my household junk sorted and throw out the weird crap one accumulates over the years. No sense in adding to what has to be moved ... QUACK ... Rainy day here today. Forecast is for the same all week. Of course. - It's April! ... QUACK ...

Our duck shirts arrived, but we haven't had a chance to try them on yet. Does anyone remember when we're all supposed to wear them??!!?? :huh:

Saturday, I ordered a few new tops. Now all I have to do is lose 100 pounds so I can fit into my dinner outfits!

Mal is due home today from Texas. Maybe after we go out to dinner, I can start organizing things.

Welcome home, Calgon. Glad you and Pat are home safely, and had a fruitful and enjoyable trip to VA.

Sis - I had suggested wearing them as we embark/sailaway, for the Pinnacle Grill lunch (slacks, no shorts) and on deck for our Deck Party.

And for those who may not have checked....Celebrity Summit and Norwegian Gem are scheduled to be in port with us in New York. Which means there could easily be a New York mess as we embark and disembark. Both of those ships will dock at King's Wharf in Bermuda.

It suppose to be 1 Bag per stateroom before you reach the first port. but if you ask for a second one .
I am sure your cabin steward , he will give you an extra one. he did on our last cruise.

Good morning Duckies! Finished up our door decorations as well as a little surprise for all the other Duckies :biggrin:

Now all I am needing to do is lose 60 pounds before the cruise so I don't have to go out and buy all new clothes :biggrin:

Think I can do it??

Too funny, Janice. Michael was in Austin TX for business this past weekend, so I spent Saturday shopping online for new tops. Many of mine have shrunk....that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :biggrin:

An FYI.

Celebrity Summit and Norwegian Gem will be in port with us in NYC for our Sunday departure and arrival. That means possible chaos at the pier, especially for disembarkation. Don't know how thinly spread out Immigration and Customs will be - there could be delays. Those who have HAL transfers should be fine. Based on past experience, those who are relying on taxis could find a long wait. Those who are ordering a car service be sure to keep your cell phones handy because you may need to keep revising pick-up times. The car services are accustomed to this, but you need to keep them informed.

Summit and Gem will dock at King's Wharf in Bermuda, whereas we're docked in Hamilton.

I am looking for a few new tops also I just have to get myself over to the mall one day. I picked up a nice top the other day at a local store call Ross for less also got a great buy on skechers half price.
I hate shopping but need to go out soon maybe next weekend.
