what is really funny is that carnival apparently doesn't follow any guideline when it comes to price drops. both of my price drops were issued after final payment and i received both an fare reduction, and an OBC for two different fare reductions. to date i have 4 different rate reductions for two different cabins. one was "past guest" and the other is an "ES" booking. received two price drops for each. on the "ES" cabin i received both reductions as OBC's, on the past guest i received one as a "fare reduction" and the other as an OBC... Sooo.... i think it probably matters more who is on the other end of the phone/computer when you receive the price drops... but i don't care, come on carnival, keep them rate reductions coming. :doubleup::cheer:
