WINDY!!

It has been a very windy day here in western PA. In fact it was so bad that we lost power this morning (again) -- just got it back a short while ago.

After breakfast I had put some ribs in the one oven for an all day cook. They are now ruined -- had to throw them out. In the other oven I had just started to bake cookies -- they had been iin the oven for only 5 miniutes -- well -- you guessed it -- ruined and thrown out.

Tonight the temperature is to go down to 4 degrees with wind chills of -20 degrees.

Hope we don't lose any more power.

We have the strong winds here too, in Michigan. With the cold weather, our wind chill factor is -11 degrees. Yikes!!

Same here in the burbs of Chicago. Strong winds and a wind chill well below zero. burrrrrrr!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't lose the power again. It's much to cold for that to happen.

Cold and windy here as well in Illinois. Not real windy but enough to make it bone chillin cold! Snow and sleet on the forecast for tomorrow.

Great day here but Galveston is having a time of it this year with the fog. Conquest and Voyager are still at the dock due to the heavy fog. Don;t know what time they will leave but looks like it is clearing some now. (Galveston web cam).

Just spoke to my Mom who is in Western PA also. She said the same thing it is cold and windy.

Same here inm Western NY State! Our outside thermometer says -8 degrees!
