I cruise because I love to be waited on and treated like royalty!  I don't care if ports get substituted for reasons beyond our control.

I love getting onboard after checking in,  exploring the ship,  watching us leave port, sitting out on deck and watching the water, feeling the sea and the salt, watching the sunsets and sunrises.

I love all the good food, and fun things to do, and I really really love relaxing, having the door to my balcony opened at bedtime and listening to the waves as we cut through the sea.  I love the gentle rocking as the ship slips through the sea at night...it's like being rocked to sleep.

I love having my breakfast delivered to my verandah table and having a nice leisurely meal while we dock in the morning.

I love meeting new people and passing them on the streets of the ports we visit and that feeling of comaradery when we recognize fellow passengers.

I love going into the ports and going to places where tourists don't go so I can get to see how the locals live and get a feeling of their island, their culture and their lifestyles and history of where they live.
