I thought it was president, vice president and speaker of the house, but when I was there last week, the pictures were Bush, Cheney and some happy bald guy -- I don't know who he is but it wasn't Pelosi ????

Maybe the head of SSI?

Thanks.

figured it out; it's the Social Security Commissioner, Michael Astrue

That's correct Hucc...it is tradition that Government Offices have pictures of the Pres, VP, and the head of their agency. In my office we have Bush, Cheney and Condi Rice. Now Tobyn would probably have Bush, Cheney, Sec Defense & Sec Army and possibly th commander of the base.

I don't know why but I couldn't stop laughing when you said 'some happy bald guy!' (:D

Sheesh...you had me going! For a couple of seconds I thought it might be my DH :grin !

:grin :lol everyone....

"some happy bald guy" :)

See what I mean by his pic?

thanks, niecez, makes sense

why was Curly , "curly"?
Larry had the curls

I guess that's part of the humor?

And what about Shemp? :)

I thought that maybe my picture would be hanging there since I have paid in so much money. They ought to close Social Security and just give you the address of some old people to drop a check off every month. Think of the savings.

Wait a minute, I just realized that I qualify for Social Security in a year and a half. At that time, I will post my address. If you stop by each month with a check, you will be saving the government all that paperwork and postage.
