I will be cruising for the first time this saturday on the truimph, we booked a category 8 room with a balcony, will there be any special things in our room, or will be disappointed? Also, how big are the rooms & balcony, I am not expecting a huge room, but would it be comfortable for 2?

Thank you

Carnival ships are known for having some of the bigger rooms for passengers. The room will not be huge by hotel standards but they will be done so that there is quite a bit of storage and room to move around. They should be plenty big for 2 of you.

Rooms are 185 sq ft , regular balcony is 35 sq ft. There will be plenty of room, the beds can be pushed together to make one big bed. There is a sofa, and a table that will raise and lower. There is also plenty of room in the bathroom for your stuff. The closets are quite large, if you don't have enough hangers, just ask your room steward for some more. Don't worry, have fun.

You will also find a hair dryer and a basket in the bathroom containg things like disposable razors, tylenol, small tube of toothpaste, and other items which I do not recall. Also in the shower you will find liquid shampoo and soap dispensers in addition to the bars of soap on vanity.

what!!! only 2 people, how lucky. Just got back last weak 2 adults 3 teenagers
had a great time. Unpack everything and put suite cases in closet. More
than enough space.

Shavey,

Please tell me where everyone slept. We, too, are a family of 5 and we have a balcony stateroom booked on the Victory in March.

Thanks,
Gayle

Triumph was one of our favorite ships! Had a mini suite that was wonderful! Balcony is very nice. You're gonna love her.
