I know the experts are here on cruise @ddicts that may be able to help me?

My daughter is in Amsterdam today, and she texted me that she saw a cruise ship in the harbor, but couldn't see the name.

I know there is a website where you can see what ship is where today? Does anyone have that info?

She was curious, and wondered if any of the passengers would be going to the market there...where today they are having a festival? She said there was so much delicious food to choose from, and a lot of fried fish, shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, etc. Lots of fresh fruit too, she sent a picture of the strawberries.....She sure seems to be enjoying the beautiful day there today too.

Anyone know how I could find out the name of the cruise ship? Thanks :)

On this site you can find some ships and ports. I don't know if it covers all though.

As Karry said, it seems like it is Costa neoRomantica that is in Amsterdam today.

Thanks Karry and Erik....I will text her the name of the ship. She said some of her crew mates were wondering too....

The market! Ohhh, she said she wished I could see it! She enjoyed that so much. Having that fresh seafood was the best part for her. And all the fresh strawberries!

Even though we are surrounded by the Great Lakes and we get our share of fresh "lake" fish (bass, walleye, trout, etc.).....we must purchase our seafood frozen. And I believe that makes a big difference, especially when you have no idea how old it really is??? Occasionally, we can find shrimp or fish that supposedly is fresh (shipped by air), but it is so expensive! And even then, you really don't know if it was previously frozen???

So when we are near the sea....it's a treat to have fresh fish
