If your ship is docking in Nassau I highly recommend the water taxi to Paradise Island where the Atlantis is. It is only $3.00 each way and they run about every 30 minutes. Usually there is a native Bahamian who gives a guided tour (if you will) on all of the sights that the boat passes by. Because he is funny and interesting I couldn't tell you how long the trip took, probably about 15 minutes, maybe longer. But well worth the $3.00 and the sea breeze was wonderful!! Plus they pass right by the ships and the view was great!!
