As far as safe goes... it's perfectly safe. It's made from the steam of boiled seawater, which is about as safe as water can be. Taste is always a matter of taste...I think it tastes fine and always drink it. The only problem is the temperature, it never really gets very cold (since it has been boiled, it takes a lot of energy to get it really cold), so I just keep some in the little refrigerator all the time. I wouldn't bother dragging more that a bottle or two with you on the plane. But if you really want to, and you're going from Fort Lauderdale, you can just get off the ship and walk over to Walgreens and buy it there before you sail.
