As a Canadian I have for years been looking at all the options that turn up on the Great Lakes. There are more options now than ever and I would think that a lot of the trips to Cities on the US nad Canada side would be fine expeditions. Add in the Welland Canal and up through to Lake Superior on a nice ship would kinda be very nice. I did some swimming in Lake Ontario as kid. Pretty cold. But getting round into Lake Huron and the Beaches up there would be OK ..Sandy and warm. Not quie the caribbean but close in the hot months. Just another lottery win away of course.
