Oh Dear a real newbie or a bit of a acronym issue. but thats NOT a problem, happens to us all. A "Travel Agent". A good TA costs you nothing everyone pays the same price sooner or later depending on specials etc. A good TA will get you the specials if you are not pressed for time. Other TA's may just get you the best price at the time from the Cruise Lines website. A good TA will help you with all those issues you may have. Like the Q's you have now? And all other questions. A not so good TA that does not deal that much in cruising would be able to answer this question and other easy ones but that good TA will be there for you basically all the time. So I distinguish between the two. Both get the same $$ out of the fare you pay. Insurance is a different matter and may vary differently in many ways. Both depending on the cruise line and their rules and the actual party selling the insurance. Generally the billing is done on final payment day and if afterwards the same date.To Forum Manager: what is a “TA?”
