Viking Cancels Cruises Through May 31 - Cruise Addicts

Viking has extended its pause of cruising two more months, now through the end of May, according to a letter sent to booked guests and posted on their website.

What do we do? Our river cruise is June 2 but we fly May 31. Too close for comfort!

My Parents who are 81 and 74 had their Viking cruise cancelled in 2020 and opted to move it to 2021. Now since it was cancelled again due to their age do not want to move it another year. But Viking will not refund them the money ~$28,000 for two years because the 2021 trip was created off a voucher. This is basically ~$28,000 they cannot use for two years and hope they can get it back in 2023..... I wish you luck.

This is actually one of the saddest news I heard this year. I and my family already planned for the viking cruise and we've paid already before it was announced it has been cancelled. The notice was too short. I think they need to work on that.
