Very Sad news about one of our roll callers for our upcoming Alaska cruise

I belong to a roll call for our Millennium cruise to Alaska in May. A lot of the people live in the SF bay area, so we've been able to get together twice for luncheons, and we've all grown fond of each other.

We had a posting this afternoon that one of the ladies who has attended our luncheons and who we know passed unexpectedly at home last night. It was a shock to all of us. (I'm crying as I type this, I just read the posting).

Her girlfriend, who was going to cruise with her and who notified us, asked us to remember her on the cruise, as she loved cruising and Alaska. I know we will want to have a Marjorie Moment on board once we sail into Alaska waters.

So sad. Please include Marjorie's family in your prayers tonight. And throw one in for her fog Floppie, who won't understand where his mom has gone.

May her family and friends find the peace and comfort they need at this time.

Prayers on the way for Marjorie's family and I wish I could be there to give poor Floppie some cuddles. So very sad.

This still seems to unreal to me. Marjorie was so full of life, so happy to give, and she was such a good mom to her dog (not fog!) Floppie. I guess this goes to show that you should live life to the fullest and love to the fullest every single day.

Sorry for all who loved Marjorie, especially Floppy, who really doesn't understand. Where will Floppy go this evening?
