I recommend just grabbing a taxi at the airport. The trip costs about $120 and takes about an hour-20min. We missed a connecting flight going to our last cruise and landed in Houston with less than two hours to make the ship. Luckily, our luggage got there ahead of us. We just flagged a taxi outside the baggage area and offered the driver a $20 tip if he got us there before they pulled the gang plank. We made it with about 10 min to spare.
