The NO airport is in Kenner, LA, which is a suburb of NO, and is about 25 miles from the pier. I think that $35.00 pp r/t (including hotel) is a pretty good deal, and is most likely a Carnival transfer, if you booked your pre-night hotel through Carnival. I once paid $30.00 for a taxi from the airport just to my hotel on Canal St....one way.
