Tracey Arm Fjord Excursion

I am thinking about booking Tracey Arm Fjord excursion in Alaska. Was wondering if it is worth the money because the ship does go by it but can't get up close to it. Also I see that you have to go down steep stairs to get on boat and was wondering how many stairs you have to go down because I am scared of heights.

Where exactly us this "Excursion" available from. If one is lucky which I have been. Ships can get pretty close when ice is not an issue. Its a gorgeous location.

Here's a pano .We were much closer than appears I lost a lot of pixels making it small enough to show. Maybe Thumbnail will be better ? Nope it wasn't. But this one shows everything better except for those people.
