Just to clarify....I think it is rude to stare, too! But, then, I was taught it was rude to stare at other people at any time, not just when they're semi-nude.Moral: Be prepared for everything, including stares! If it really bothers you, don't go topless, or go topless and bring along your REALLY BIG hubby/boyfriend, who ABSOLUTELY, as prettygigi says, deter the "starer" in one way or another!I did not mean to offend anyone in any way with my opinion. I have found that the older I get the less I am prone to get up in arms about dealing with these sorts of situations. To try and change human nature (and men in particular!) is like beating your head against a brick wall. Life is just too short for that, for me! Rather than beat my head against the wall and complain about the wall, I'd rather just go around it (or ignore it!)...
