This is for all of you lucky folks down in Florida, Georgia, California, Arizona, Australia and the like.....

While you are relaxing :dance in the warm breezes B), the rest of us in the frozen tundra have other tasks to tend to...:mad

Here is what we had to deal with today.:dizzy ...

Cat decided that it was better to be inside and just watch...

DSC02083.jpg

But, oh no, we think Cat should have a little fun in the snow (his first time). He wouldn't let his front paws touch the white stuff (had to carry him in).....and I heard Cat say something like "I'll get you my pretty, just wait *$#@&%#" !!!

Now Dog thinks Cat is crazy....Dog enjoys a nice nap in the white stuff...

Then, it was time for DH to get out there and move some of the white stuff (now this is the part I know you Floridians really miss!)

So as you sit and enjoy those sunny, warm days.....think about us, in the great, white north......freezing our "you-know-what's" off!!! :dizzy :dizzy

Thanks! I don't miss that white stuff.
We lived in Vermont and Connecticut. I have been in south west Florida for 10 years now.

Reggae, it reminds me of when I lived in Buffalo, NY for the first 28 years of my life. Since moving to Florida, I try to only go to Buffalo in the summer.

Florida is actually having a cold front come through today and we will only be in the 50's during the day and 30's at night. So we are cold too! Anything under 70 is cold to us.

You can keep the stuff. My DH says if we get anything significant here in VA, we are moving to Savannah.

.

Reggae, thanks for the great pics :) I would love to see and experience that white stuff in person, especially the last few days. We have been sweltering down here, with no airconditioning.
Does the landscape look black and white for real, like the photos?
I love the cat, trying not to touch the snow, while dog likes to lie in it :lol

BUUrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The snow in SoCal knows enough to stay up in the mountains where it belongs so we can admire it from afar. It is about 1 1/2 hr drive if I went out of my mind and decided to frolic in the stuff.
It was 74F here today.

Wow Reggae, that was a lot of snow! The cat is funny, not wanting to touch her paws in the stuff.

Suer, I am ROFL at your photo. I love it!

Yikes you got it good. So your son had plenty of snow while here and will return home to it. Thanks for the share! Tomorrow is supposed to hit 43. It will feel like a heat wave to us after the last weeks. I know it won't last we have plenty of winter left here in CO.

No warm breezes up my way in "sunny" California! It's been icy cold, and we have "the mother of all storms" moving in tomorrow. They forecast LOTS of pounding rain, and high high winds. Oh joy, that automatically translates to "loss of power." But it's ok, we need the rain, and the snow.

Thanks for the share! :thumb

Love your photos, I too don't mind the snow, it's the severe cold and icy roads that I don't like. I don't like extreme heat and humidity either.
