I agree and wonder why no one has said that before in the thousands of argumentative threads on the subject??You nailed it on the head - it is NOT TIPPING AT ALL!!!It's a "service charge". Period. Just like every drink has a built in "service charge".Tipping involves free will and individual attention to specific servers, stewards etc.So let's call it what it is - a service charge which will be added to your bill unless you request it be removed and face the wrath of the staff who do indeed, find out, that you had it pulled.
