I also give generous tips during the cruise (to my fav bartenders) and on the  last day as well, in addition to being "bullied" into prepay. Since I haven't sailed since December, I'm really curious to find out if the rumblings are accurate, which is that the service has suffered since the crew is now "guaranteed" tips. Glad you got great service. That is X's brand point. Service.
