We have been on the island twice; once, the first time we booked through the cruise line. We did the Tabyana Beach excursion (NCL) It was the best snorkeling I have experienced and I have snorkeled many places in the Caribbean as well as Hawaii. The second time we did our own thing. Got off the ship and the tour guide were like flies. It's a very poor island, but quite friendly and a diamond in the rough. I give it about 10 years before it's one big tour resort. Our next trip we plan on doing "Salt and Peppers" We have heard great reviews, it's similar to Tabyana Beach (maybe not quite as nice) but very private and offers great food plus snorkeling: all for a good price.NMNita
