Does anyone know of any product currently out there that is good for bringing on a cruise ship to where I can lock my stuff on a cruise while I am swimming or running on the track?

On my last cruise, my family and I ran into some theft problems out on the pool deck. My Aunt had her iPod stolen right off of her beach chair

Welcome to Cruise @ddicts.

There's safe's in the cabins. The cabins that I have stayed in the safe was in the closet. I'm sorry that your Aunt had here Ipod stolen out on the pool deck. Leaving the Ipod out in plain sight is asking for trouble. Just my =twocents on the subject.

They make something called water wallets. You can get them on the ship or any discount store or dive shop.

not sure what you need when jogging other than your key card.

I just went online looking for a product that would work good and I came across an item called the Vacation Vault, which seems perfect for cruise ships....Try googling it.....It is exactly what I have been looking for because I can lock it without a key to a fixed arm of a chair out on the deck....It also seems large enough to fit my iPod, wallet, and room key card at the same time...I ordered one today and I will let you know how it works when I get it

Interesting. It seems bulky to me though. I wouldn't carry a wallet around on a ship as there is no need for cash. I've used water wallets and the ones that fit around the waist. I also use a neck wallet when onshore. They can be found at Walmart for $1.

There are only two things I need while at the pool. 1) My room key, which works fine wet, so I put it in my swim suit pocket. 2) A water proof container to put receipts in (should I decide to buy a drink). There is no need for anything else, and as a result, I have never had anything stolen.
