Too painful for me to watch in the first episodes. Some of those early shows are embarassing. I feel badly for those that truly believe they have talent and are raked over the coals by the judges.

Watched the first hour - but can't take the second - - sure wish this writers strike would get over and we could get some good shows on.

well, I loved it. Some of those people are not sincere, just trying to get on TV so I don't feel sorry for them. None of them would be on the show if they hadn't agreed to be shown. Yes, I felt sorry for some, but there was a lot of talent, can't wait to see how many make it in Hollywood.

I don't watch much network TV, so the writer's strike hasn't bothered my viewing yet.

I guess it just takes all kinds of taste to make the world, lol.

I agree with you Connie! Some of those folks were trying for those 60 seconds of fame, albeit embarrassing! Some of the others were truly bad, they really felt in their hearts that they were perfect, bless their hearts. Should be a good season to see who makes it......I have to confess though, some of those auditions were painful!

I thought the judges were very kind to some of them last night and that guy who waxed his chest just wanted TV time, some good singers out of PA!
