We just back and we enjoyed this movie....then I was CRAZY :loveya about the book.  Though the ending is sad, one must realize that Marley was I believe 13 and for a lab, that is getting old and this was the story of the circle of life and how much our beloved Furbabies bring to the family dynamics.  In real life if you follow the Grogan's life you would know they go on to eventually get another lab named Gracie and the movie folks gave the Grogan's one of the puppies who played Marley as a puppy.   His name is Woodson and he has just been diagnosed with canine hip dysplasia.  You can read the story about Woodson in the link below.  But I think Whimsy's pain is too raw right now to enjoy it.
