Tahitian Princess - Alaska - August 2008

Look real hard at the Tahitian Princess' 14 day Alaska cruises in August 2008. Would appreciate information about this ship. Plusses, minuses, recommendations ...

Just off the 12/10 - 12/20 sailing of the Tahitian. I absolutely loved the ship.

She is a perfect size, you get to know many of the passengers and crew much more than the bigger ships.

Things to consider though:

1) Not as varied activities as on the larger ships.

2) ONly 1 pool

3) Traditional dining only except for the Sabitinnis and Sterling (which operate on alternate evenings)

We were very pleased with our experience.

Checking out the excursions, it seems as through there are plenty of opportunities for wildlife/fauna pictures. :lol
