The children will enjoy riding those open-air vans on St. Thomas - some parts are like roller-coaster rides. Also recommend taking the gondolas up to Paradise point, where you get a great view of St. Thomas and the cruise ship in port. The shopping near the port is the usual: T-shirts, mugs, jewelry.
