Colleen - We love beaches and snorkeling and enjoyed these: Barbados - Folkestone Marine Park (great snorkeling, so-so beach are but if you walk around the rocky point to the right as you face the water you come to a beautiful resort/beach - public allowed - with snorkeling over the same reef - beautiful!) St. Lucia - Anse Chastenet (long taxi ride but worth it, spectacular beach and snorkeling very near the Pitons, restaurant/bar on the beach, fantastic setting) Antigua - Hawksnest Beach (four beaches, actually, the last one is CO, we had the the first one totally to ourselves, great swimming in beautiful blue water but no snorkeling). We always do trips on our own, no excursions off the ships as we feel we can see more, for a longer amount of time, and often get a lot of insight on the islands from the taxi guys and the locals we meet. Although we didn't do your route on the AOS last April, you're going to LOVE the ship, it is beautiful and even though we're hardcore Princess fans (one week to Golden Princess - woohoo!) we wouldn't hesitate to go on RCI again based on the wonderful time we had on AOS.
