Town is very small and walkable. Sorry I have no experience with any of the tours here.

Is there a town shuttle that can take you to the Raptor Center and other areas?

Book a small charter boat and get out of town for at least half of your port time... That can mean fishing, sightseeing, a guided hike, etc.... If you happen to be there over Father's Day weekend, I'd offer to take you myself... otherwise, try Davey Lubin... His boat is called the Esther G, and I've heard nothing but raving reviews...

Jeana, I'm going back to Sitka in a few weeks and I'm wondering the same thing about the Raptor center. When we were there last time, we walked the town and discovered a lot about the history. Pretty amazing place. Castle Hill is a great vantage point. One of the things I remember the most is the incredible views sailing in. Lovely place. If you find a shuttle, please post! I'll do the same.
