True..we tend to book on our own, and usually it is just the two of us, or a bus with 6 or 8 passengers.As was mentioned earlier.. if you are going with others, make sure you agree on what to do. There is nothing more frustrating than sharing a ride with people that only want to shop and are not interested in sights..and vice versa.And about Santorini… I love that place! Usually we take the lift. But the last time we were there, the queue was so long..we decided to go by donkey It was funny as heck…. Einstein had the smallest one there was..or it sure seemed so with his long legs.. I still have that pictureas for me..I am afraid of heights..and my taller donkey dec to get as close to the very low wall as he could! I actually had to raise my foot to keep from having it scratched on the wall.the bugger was leaning over the wall! It is the last time that I will ever get on a donkey or mules back ever again..unless I am strapped across its back in a comatose state.
