Having grown up in Florida, I have always loved the salt water. I could never move anywhere that wasn't 5 or 10 minutes from the beach...no way. We have a pool also, but there is nothing like swimming in the Gulf on a clear day Salt water is good (as said above) for many things, too. Don't be afraid to try it.
