Re: Weekend Open House - Part 2 Charles...the terrors are Sergeant and Skye and I call them terrors because they are Yorkshire Terriers. The youngest and the largest of the two really does terrify people because he barks so! He never did this until he was attacked by a German Shepherd who was not leashed! We almost lost him....the puncture wound in his neck missed his carotid artery by about 1/16 of an inch! The oldest and smallest, Sergeant, is the most gentle little creature in this world...a perfect little gentleman who loves everyone. Just like people they come in all shapes, sizes and temperaments. Sergie is definitely like Mary Ann in nature...not like me! The photo of the bouquet is just a small part of the lovely arrangement sent to me by Mary Ann. They are beautiful flowers aren't they! Just like the lady who sent them. Reggae thank you for your lovely story. You asked, "Mary Ann had this uncanny way of making each of us feel like we were truly one of her very special friends...don't know how she pulled that off? " She managed to pull it off because she was not trying to put one over on any of us. She truly was interested and she truly did care! Mystery solved! I'll have a Lava Flow now...after all we are in Hawaii!
