What a usual sea day for you!. for us the first thing in the morning
is about 45 minute walk around the ship. then shower and go for breakfast
we like to different places to have breakfast . main dining room, lido deck or
dine on the balcony.
then we head for rear of the ship to find a nice shady place to relax and plan our day. we read the daily paper to find out what is going on and make plans.
I usually take a dip in the pool to cool off and just enjoy the moment.

Re: SEA DAY

Our day sounds like your day. For our Jewel cruise, I have a feeling we may be in the pool more often as we are going South Baby, South. :) Plus, we'll be at Maw's office off and on throughout the day.

We normally get cleaned up again for lunch in the dining room, as that is where Den likes to have lunch. Well, I go about 1/2 the days...I have to have pizza and Windjammer food the other days. :D

Re: SEA DAY

I nice leisurely balcony breakfast is usually the ordr of the start of the day and with a balcony that usually means room service. Then a nice exercise walk around the ship to be followed by some pool time and a stop at maws office would seem on the agenda.

Of course there will be some Group activities taht we will need to attend to also. :) Such as the Gift Exchange, Putt Putt Tourney, Billiards Tourney, and 2 Group Parties. I would think that we wil be in some MAJOR R & R search at maws office or around the pool to offset the busy times of the group activities but ALL in ALL it will be a FUN Day. :party

.

Re: SEA DAY

We enjoy breakfast and lunch usually in dining room-we eat less and easier for Paw to handle with scooter. Will be there for the group activities and of course rest of time in my office. Hope we find a shady spot near the pools comfortable table , chairs, food & drink near by and potties. want to try a pool this time if can get in and out. Paw will probably rest in cabin part of afternoon. Don't check our balcony with hollering. lol

Re: SEA DAY

Maw - fair warned!! :D

Also, Maw - in looking at the Solarium area - it looks like an easy in, easy out of the pool in there. Don't worry though, there are enough of us that we s/b able to get you in & out. You scan the areas once we get there and let us know. =hug

Re: SEA DAY

Coffee and juice on the balcony when we first get up. We then head up to the buffet for breakfast about 9:00 then go immediately to the pool. Spend a couple hours around the pool reading and taking dips. Might have a light lunch, depending on if breakfast is a big one or a light one. Might go back to the room about 2:00 and take a shower and nap, maybe catch a movie on TV. Or may join in on an afternoon activity. And during all of this will be in and out of Maw's Office ;)

Re: SEA DAY

Yes, Nieciez...whoever said that taking a cruise was a vacation. =huh There is a lot of stuff to get in!! :D

Re: SEA DAY

Right after breakfast --gone for lunch and probably back for while after lunch come by I won't leave lol

Re: SEA DAY

I saw everyone's sea day and it likes like everyone has a plan. One problem I can see is no one mentioned BLOODY MARY time! That's usally somewhere shortly after breakfast in the dining room for us.

Re: SEA DAY

Oh yes, Cuervo Rick...a nice bloody cold mary in the morning...Yum!! :)

note to self...take a jar of pickled okra

Re: SEA DAY

Niecie and I have been known to have those early in the office --seem to remember E with a few in his hand too.

Re: SEA DAY

I usually get up around 7:30 or 8:00 and do my hour walk around the ship's deck or gym. Come back to the stateroom to have breakfast with Priscilla. We also pre-order our breakfast with the cards supplied. Then we go up to get our spot picked out for a day of sunning. Have lunch
around 2:00. Then later on, I will do another hour walk. Then a little R&R time and get cleaned up for dinner and a fun night out on the ship. That's what we do with our sea days. We have been lucky to have lots of practice with this schedule, as this will be our 61st cruise coming up on the Jewel. It will great to see all our friends and meet new ones!! John & Priscilla

Re: SEA DAY

I'm usualy wandering the upper decks with a coffee or two until I wake up. Then, breakfast in the windjammer. Wander by the gym. Then, it's time to wake up SunFlower. A bit of room service breakfast while someone gets dresed. Then it's off to the restaurant for breakfast.... A few snacks at poolside, while oggling the bathing beauties .... And, before I know it, it's time for lunch...
