HiWe sailed in early November on that route. It gets predictably windy in Messina Straits but I don’t recall it being rough…as BSeaBob said.. all relative to the conditions, ship and your sensitivity but my bets would have been on this area over the Caribbean, Pacific or Atlantic. Additionally, however, my first time hearing of a Medi-storm this year!
