Port stop #7 is Santo Domingo and E had to do some digging to get the snuff on this port of call since we have never been here before. We arrive at 9AM and depart at 4PM.
Better known as the Dominican Republic this island is BEST know for its ALL Inclusive Resorts. With the short time in port it may be wise to opt for a ship based tour here if U are ready to explore. There are quite a few museums and sights within walking distance for those with a LOT of energy.

Santo Domingo Top 5 Must Do's
One of the main concerns of MANY at this stop involves contacting a disease called Cholera. While there is concern it should be noted that this disease is primarily contacted thru contaminated water sources. The rule of thumb in prevention is wash your hands regularly and drink ONLY bottled water. For those following the recommended preventions there is little chance of contacting this disease.
