Room Service

Can you order the same menu from the dining room from room service? I am interested in breakfast and dinner. We are sailing with our 4 year old and he is not a morning person. We sailed with him last year on Princess and all you could order for breakfast was continental breakfast and sometimes he gets cranky for dinner and would rather eat in our cabin then ruin dinner for everyone else at the table.

Thanks in advance

Dinner is a definate yes dining room menu during dinner hours. Sorry can't help with the breakfast.......you could go to the Windjammer and get him real breakfast and take it back to the room.

They let you order from the lunch and dinner menu during lunch and dinner hours.Breakfast is not the same way.But if you write in say scrambled eggs on the breakfast card they will deliver them.We have ordered eggs and toast and written it in on the card and they brought it .So did Princess. They just don't advertise that fact. You can't get a full breakfast but enough that should tide him over.

The room service menu on RCI does offer more then continental breakfast. I do not remember a lot about it but I know I had eggs on my balcony and I did not have to write anything in. I hope this helps!

Through the excellence of RCTV, you can order little more than a continental breakfast featuring breads, toasts, bagels, and cereals. The eggs are available via the card you fill out and leave out on your door. That is about it. Drinks ranging from prune juice, to skim milk are available via TV order/phone order. Windjammer is open until 11:30, but if you get there around 11:20 you will have to have someone distract the waiters so you can hop over the rope as they close the "breakfast line" side off sometime before 11:30.

For dinner, they offer the features of each night through the phone order (it's all in the book of room service) as well as various salads and deserts.

Even if you get your son the "Coke Card" you will still have to pay for soda ordered through room service.

(At least on the AOS)

RCTV is only available on the newer ships. Voyager and Radiance class for sure. Not sure about any of the others.
