I had the windows open here for the longest time today. Then it started to heat up and the humidity was on the rise. Before that I (we) got Ava walked twice, picked up prescriptions from the pharmacy, hung up the ironing board in the laundry room, dropped Lu-Ann at chair yoga, did 30 minutes on the treadmill, cut the front lawn, had a little lunch and went to the grocers. I’m sitting down now.
We picked up some strawberries. I said a silent “hi” to Tony. The berries were from Watsonville, CA.
I remember the little pieces of wedding cake being handed out to guests as the bride and groom visited all of the guests to say thank you before they (the bride and groom) left the reception. Or in our case when Lu-Ann’s Dad kinda tossed us out! Heck, it was a small wedding and we were having fun. I think Percy wanted to go home but not before we left. Jeez, I miss him too.
It’s looked like rain all day here too Kathie. But nothing forecast until maybe 6:00 tomorrow morning.
OK Mike, add me to the list of those folks who must have asked you your secret to your, so far, 93 years.
Where you at these days Karen. Miss ya.
