Lee and the rest of us:  I still have a pit in my stomach and broken heart over losing our Dave.  It’s hard not getting a post from him.  This is going to hurt for awhile for sure. :sign missu:

Thinking of Kathi and hope she is coping. I know she will be busy with tons of legal paperwork.  Hope she reads along and stops in here soon.

THIS LONG SO FEEL FREE TO SKIP OVER IT!

Lee:  I love your post about naming my dishwasher!! I found the “manual” for the dishwasher.  Followed the instructions. Didn’t work. Pulled the plug from the wall outlet under the sink, no help. ”I” threw the switch in the breaker, no help.  I do know that pulling the outlet plug in wall and throwing the breaker do the same thing, ( per Mr Electrician Artie)

Looked up You Tube videos for help. Called General Elec and a nice lady actually took the time to go through everything with me that I already did! Duh!

Finally called the Appliance store where we bought dishwasher and a REALLY NICE gal gave me a number of a fellow they work with for repairs.  Said he was way less expensive than G.E. He would be back from vacation on Thurs and she would send him the model# etc, etc and he would call me.

ARE YOU ALL STILL WITH ME ON THIS LONG EXPLAINATION?? Ha ha

So, I said to myself after looking at the panel on the dishwasher one more time that I would press a few more areas and see what happens.

LOW AND BEHOLD the

LOCK Light went out“ and I touched the START button and it actually worked.

That was after over 3 hours + of trying, looking at videos, calling GE, and the appliance store!

Sorry this was so long, but I had to get it OUT of my head!

I called the appliance store back and she said better to wait until Thursday when the service man calls me to CANCEL the service call.  I would still be on his list if needed.  Saved some money so far…. thank goodness.

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programs!  Ha ha.
