A little longer day than we anticipated. We were underway later than planned which was a good thing because we found out that today was the Atlanta Marathon. Over 11,000 participants so streets were closed, traffic was busy but fortunately we avoided most of it. Then we stopped for lunch and fuel in Jellico, TN and the little town had no power. The food spots were closed, the Shell had no power to the fuel pumps…ARGH!! But I never let the fuel reach the “oh oh“ point so we carried on a bit.
Geez Kathi, why would they send Dave home rather than keep him even just a day or two to keep an eye on him. Tell him we’re thinking about both of you.
I guess it’s good your nose is just dripping Kathie. If it were running you’d have to catch it!
When was your Mardi Gras dinner Karen. I know you did a ton of prep work for it but didn’t see when it was. Hope it was a resounding success!
I bet the house feels empty when The Tierney’s head home Mike.
What else. Ah, dinner tonight was baked potatoes, steamed veggies, penne and chicken! Darned fine food at The Drury.
In the some things never change category, guess who needs her after dinner walk? Nope, not Lu-Ann.
Have a good night my friends.
