I do hope that your cough subsides. The ache from the coughing is always the worst. Depending how things go politically Kathie, you and Art may want to hang at our place until you find a nice home here in Canada. Nope, no mail for two weeks. But really, nobody seems to care. In our case we get all of our utility bills on line. We pay our bills on line. For the most part we send and receive e-greeting cards. Aside from flyers we, along with most of our friends, get nothing of any consequence or value in the mail.RANT TIME…Retirees get nothing from improvements to collective agreements. I get my indexed pension (it rises with inflation) every month. When I turned 65 my benefits disappeared. I say leave them out until The Union comes to their senses, agrees to a realigned delivery model and drops their ridiculous 25 1/2% over 4 year wage increase demand. The company has already said no rollbacks to existing employee benefits and offered an increase of over 11% over 4 years. They need to move to a minimum 6 day parcel delivery model to compete / keep up with competitors. Like major courier companies and, dare I say, Amazon. Now you’ve done it Kathie! Time for a blood pressure pill…
