Funny thing about tariffs. They work both ways. It seems that The United States imports, among other things from Canada, water. And crude oil. And auto parts to build new American made vehicles. As those raw material or parts prices increase through tariffs so does the bottom line to consumers. The rich get richer and the average workin’ people fall further. ‘Nuff said about that.
We still have a postal strike now entering its second week here in Canada. Generally, nobody seems to care.
Who’s that? Oh, hi Kathie. Up for an early morning “snog” of her favourite booze. 
Hope it helps your cough and getting back to sleep. We have a couple of outdoor decorations that will come down easily after Christmas. And very few, if any, indoor decorations. Leaving for Florida a week earlier than usual we decided we don’t need the added burden of packing away Christmas before we go! Depending on the direction America takes this may well be our final trip south.
