It was sooo beautiful yesterday on the way to the doctor's. Big, giant snow flakes coming down at a rapid pace covering cars, yards and roofs. Coming down faster than the ground temperature could melt it. It looked grand where Christmas lights were still on. By the time I came out of the doctor's office there was so much snow that a kid could go sledding. I passed a car dealership on the way home where they were using a leaf blower to get the snow off of cars. Clever. BUT by 2:30 PM almost every bit of it had melted.
Along Lake Erie, towns and cities had a blast of snow last evening during the Cleveland Browns and Steelers football game. The game started with a green field, by the end of it you couldn't tell where the yard markers were because of all the snow. From time to time they had to send out guys with shovels to uncover all the lines and yard markers. Players and officials were all covered with snow. Now THAT'S football weather. Today the temperatures will continue to rise, and by the end of the day all that snow will be gone.
Lee; Exactly how long did it take for Ava to train YOU?
You made out like a bandit KC with getting all that work done by your electrician for only $180. Keep that guy's number. Happy that you got that new brace, and hope that it's easy to put on.
"Jungle Jims"??? You're going to have to explain that one to me Mike.
K2; Eric and his parents are mighty lucky to get 2 years of college for free. Those "Turkey Pockets" sound good. I've never heard of them. Can they be frozen? With our leftover turkey and fixings Kathi's planning on making TV dinners and putting them in the garage freezer. She's got plates that have separate areas so everything doesn't run together.
With today being cold with pretty much an all day rain, I don't plan on leaving the house.
