Nice to see so many smiling faces as everyone stopped by yesterday. And everyone seems to be keeping as busy as they can which is good.
It’s 32F here but feels like 21F with the wind. I had to laugh at Ava. She wanted out this morning and realizing how cold it was ran back into the house and went back to her bed. No early walk for that girl! Or me.
Ya Dave, I think it’s a tad cool for shorts this morning. Hope all goes well at the doctor’s office. I like early appointments. Less chance of them being behind.
Your church and the folks you have met there really seem to have added a real spark to your days Karen. It comes through in your uplifting posts. That is so neat!
Our west coast also took a hard weather hit over the past couple of days Mike. Many lost power, the ferries were cancelled and because of the threat of falling branches caused by the wind parks were closed! Don’t chase Fay. Stay in one spot where she’s bound to run in to you.
Thank you for the news about Rita Kathie. We realized as well that it was Bill’s birthday yesterday. It would also have been Lu-Ann’s Mom’s 92. That soundbite seemed more like a regular ships’ horn. The fog horns we hear are a much lower tone. A good idea for Art and The Guys to meet in the afternoon. Not having to drive at night, especially after a beverage or two, is one of the reasons we have our games day in the afternoon.
I think I could enjoy a nice warm beverage. I may even flip on the fireplace. Those two things seem to go together while I sit and watch the flurries that are in the air as I type
Off to The Fillmore Theatre in Detroit’s entertainment district this evening to enjoy the comedy of Mike Birbiglia. We found him through a couple of Netflix specials.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
