The restaurant is called The Twisted Apron. It's in Windsor not too far from the tunnel. The lady beside us was in Detroit for business and decided to pop over to Canada for breakfast. She was from Coral Gables, FL. She had never been to Michigan or Canada. Until the last couple of days that is. We had a nice chat with her. The rain had mostly stopped when we got home so we “waddled” around The Navy Yard with Ava. Sounds like you have one busy day at the hospital Kathie. Hopefully all of the results are excellent! Sounds funny that you, who bakes such good things, would shop for shortbread at the hospital. I really need to get my butt on the treadmill. If it will support the extra weight from breakfast.
