It sure was chilly on our early walk this fine morning!

Good morning everyone.

Always good to see a little note or something from almost everyone.

I have to admit to missing the mature trees and leaves we used to have Mike. Yes, a pain to clean up if they got wet but I miss them all the same.

So good to hear that Art’s shot worked well and quickly Kathie. We had a real downpour and high winds here shortly after 5:00 as well. It ushered in much cooler temperatures behind it. The bathroom is just a little part of the basement we’re doing for them. We finished framing the expanded storage room yesterday. Then worked to calculate how much sound barrier insulation they want. I say “want“ because the guys don’t think they need it. But we can’t lose sight that it’s their house and they want what they want.

I remember the mudding process all too well Dave. And the effect humidity can have on how quickly and well it dries! It’s funny how younger folks get their news these days. I fear that’s just one of the more concerning and downsides of social media.

Hi Karen.

I only watched a few minutes of the debate. The bit I watched was what I expected with neither candidate seeming to score a “TKO”. At least during the bit I saw.

After the guys left Jim and Gail’s yesterday Gail had a call from the doctor. While not entirely the good news we were all hoping for, at least the damned cancer was not detected in her lymph nodes. She sees the doc at 9:45 this morning. Jim will be there and she is video conferencing their daughter who lives in The US in. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

I reckon it’s time to brush Ava’s teeth and get her breakfast ready. Then I can think about getting the day underway for Lu-Ann and I.

Everyone have a great, safe and above all else, healthy day.
