Sorry.... late check-in.
MIKE: We had a MIST late this evening for about 20 mins that barely got the sidewalks wet. NO REAL RAIN. Thank goodness. Let's hope it stays that way through the night.

Sorry about Dave & Kathi getting sick. The germ got passed from the Nephews daughter, who was first sick and then the WORKER/HELPER guy got a hold of it and now our dear
Dave & Kathi got it. Hope you two feel better. Bad timing for this GERM to interrupt your daughters visit. WEAR YOUR MASKS IF YOU GET NEAR HER. Better yet GOT OUTSIDE and visit with her. (if the rain stops)

This just goes to show you how FAST GERMS/VIRUS's etc can spread without you knowing it.

I loved to do a Polka back in the day. We had friends that would take us to the Polish-American Club and I'd dance the polka and loved it. Art DID NOT DANCE AT ALL.

LEE: So glad you two had so much fun Fort Candlelight walk. Wish we had stuff like that here, telling us about the township way back when!!

Michigan State is LOSING BIG TIME at half-time to OHIO STATE! They're just a better team.

I watched lots of video's online showing the devastation on Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island, and the coast going North. UNREAL what WATER SURGE and do.
Places we stayed in on LBKey that were directly on the sand, I mean too close to the water, got ripped up and they showed 3 feet of SAND inside the one unit! They had no electricity as this morning and the water is shut off to Longboat Key. They're trying to find the areas that the pipes are broken so they can turn the water back on. With the humidity and SALT WATER inside a lot of the homes and condos the MOLD must be growing by the minute. Feel so bad for all of them. The North end is so bad nobody can get onto the Key from that end. And the township closed the South end from anybody coming in so they can BULLDOSE the SAND off the streets and try and get the electricity on. It's a mess.

There were pictures and videos of all the other STATES that Helene visited with her rage. Just a horrible destructive mess.

Back to the game.......no holding out for a win tonight.
