Missed the fireworks on Saturday night because neither Rita nor I felt like driving to Rockland to watch them and it was much more comfortable staying home and relaxing.We all had a nice Father's Day dinner yesterday afternoon and an enjoyable day.Hoping that the Celtics can finish things off with a win tonight so that Boston sports fans can go back to watching the Red Sox play .500 baseball.Looks like we will be getting that same heat wave that is coming to the rest of you later this week so we will be limiting our ventures outside to only the most necessary activities. Seems only a short while ago we were worrying about the cold and now it is heat. At least, iMO, it is easier to get cool when it is hot than to get warm when the cold gets into your bones, so as long as the AC keeps functioning, bring on the heat wave.
